Our new Commercial Food Processing Kitchen Incubator is now open for use. Tenants can package their recipes and ship them to customers from our site without having to invest in expensive kitchen equipment!

Recipe for Food Service Success:  The aroma of some of West Virginia's finest foods fill the air of downtown Huntington as Unlimited Future, Inc. (UFI) builds Mountain Bounty Kitchen. Kitchen incubators such as this have been used as a community economic development strategy. Communities can develop and support food-related businesses that create both new start-up businesses, and additional jobs, as existing small-to medium-sized businesses expand.
 
Mountain Bounty Kitchen is a 14,000-square-foot addition located adjacent to UFI and has 2 full-sized commercial kitchens, walk-in coolers, and freezers. The storage room includes racks for dry goods, utensil and finished goods storage, as well as men's and women's lockers. There is a dock for unloading ingredients, packaging material and other goods, and loading the finished product.
 
These kitchens were specially designed to provide room for small to large scale Roasting, Baking, Candy Making, Bottling of Homemade Jams, Jellies, Sauces, and other food packaging and production, including Catering. Labeling machines will also be available to assist in the packaging and marketing of finished product.
 
UFI is identifying potential users by tapping into the local farmer's market, fairs, festivals, and the Department of Agriculture.
