If your total household income is less than $50,000, you are eligible for free tax preparation and you may be eligible for an earned income tax credit of up to $5,751 even if you don’t owe taxes. When you come to one of our VITA sites, you MUST bring a picture ID, a social security card for you, your spouse and all dependents, all W2’s, 1099 forms and any other tax information you have received. There are no exceptions to these requirements.
