Just the beginning of good work that will be done to establish a Local Food Corridor in Central Appalachia. Honored to be a part of this with such strong partners!

POWER at Work: Central Appalachian Food Corridor Connects the Region for Success

Lots of ROI after one year of the POWER Initiative. One example: Central Appalachian Food Enterprise Corridor, a coordinated local foods distribution network throughout Central Appalachia which connects established and emerging producers in Ohio, West Virginia, Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Eastern Kentucky to wholesale distribution markets. Great work being done by Appalachian Center for Economic Networks (ACEnet), Appalachian Sustainable Development – ASD, Refresh Appalachia, Robert C. Byrd Institute and others.
