Through the support of a National Endowment for the Arts Our Town grant, a team of collaborators is actively gathering community input to shape the vision for the Central City Antiques District over the next 25 years. 🗺️Unlimited Future coordinated the local stakeholders and a team of expert consultants through the process.
The goal of the economic diversification plan is as follows;
🚀 “We want a district where people will stop, spend time, contribute ideas and resources, and weave West Huntington’s threads of brilliance into a robust cultural cloth.”
The project will publish an area-wide plan that combines the streetscape, programming, and use, marketing, and brand, as well as the organizational framework needed to execute the plan.
The outcome will be more businesses and less vacancy on 📍14th Street West in Huntington, WV.
