William "Billy" Clemons

Painter in Residence

Billy Clemons has been painting since he was six years old. He learned to paint in art class at the Old Huntington High School. He is self-taught. He has painted hundreds of paintings over a seventy-year career. Billy paints with acrylic, typically on canvas or burlap.

Billy is part of our Artist Mentor Program and generously allows UFI to reproduce his copyrighted paintings as a fundraiser to support UFI's artist program. Signed prints of selected works are available with proceeds going to buy art supplies and artist events at the Multicultural Center @ 1650 8th Avenue, UFI.
